Alicia Halls

Alicia is an experienced piano teacher who has a passion for teaching children all things musical. Growing up in a musical household Alicia began learning the piano from her mother, also a piano teacher, at a young age. By the age of 16 years Alicia had completed the AMEB 8th grade Piano Examination, the highest grade before the University level Diploma.
Alicia was a regular winner in the Shoalhaven Music Eisteddfod and at age of 12 years won the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod Junior Piano Championships and began teaching children in the local neighbourhood.

Alicia has taught the piano one to one in a variety of settings while working in the United Kingdom and Australia. She has experience with children of all ages and working with those who have special needs.

In addition to teaching the piano at the Inner West Music College Alicia has completed a psychology degree and enjoys studying the effect that music has on human behaviour.
