Piano/Keyboard and Theory lessons

I give a free first lesson for you to see if you think we could work well together. My aim is to provide all round education of piano or keyboard in whatever style you indicate, whether that is for fun and recreation or through preparing for AMEB exams. If you want to learn how to pick out tunes and harmonise, I will also assist with this, and with basic improvisation skills, this is something I’ve found my students have often requested in the past.

Piano and Theory teacher for beginner to advanced students, all ages welcome. Vacancies available for adult students for weekday lessons during school hours. I have a special focus in helping students find their own “voice”, whether that be to write their own music, to read chord charts and effectively improvise in jazz/blues style or to prepare for AMEB piano exams (I currently have Preliminary to Diploma exam students). I also assist students to play contemporary songs or other tunes of their choice by ear. I offer a free trial lesson for prospective students.
