Piano Lessons

Piano or violin lessons available.

I am an experienced teacher who is looking to fill my last available lesson times. I have two pianos here – an 88-key digital and a Kawai RX-2 grand piano. For your lessons I would use whichever one is closest to your own instrument.

I teach students of all ages including adults. I offer private lessons after school until 8:00p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend their child’s private lessons so that students can be supervised and encouraged when practising at home. Even non-musical parents can double or triple the progress of a young child.

Class lessons are sometimes available on Saturdays. These are aimed at young students who cannot yet concentrate on their own for 30 minutes. However enrolment in classes is dependent upon matching a student with students playing at a similar level. At present students wanting classes may need to be placed on a waiting list. Prices for classes vary.

Students can also choose to study for exams. Most students choose to study the A.M.E.B. syllabus although I can also prepare students for Trinity and St.Cecilia exams. I also prepare students for scholarship exams.

More advanced students also have the option of attending theory and technique classes on Saturday afternoons to further their musical development. Prices for classes vary
