Piano lessons

I have a BADipEd and taught as a general infants teacher for 6 years. I taught for the Macquarie University Early Childhood Music Education program.

I have a MMus(MusEd) from the Conservatorium and have over 30 years experience teaching piano. Beginning students use the latest developmental piano course from American publisher Alfreds. Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons. Professional development workshops are attended to keep up to date.

Continuing students do AMEB exams or piano for enjoyment. AMEB candidates attend mini concerts, recitals, workshops and the Junior Music Festival run by the Music Teachers Association of which I am a member. AMEB candidates complete the 30 pieces challenge every year to increase their repertoire and improve their sight reading ability.

A concert is held every year where parents, siblings and grandparents can hear the student perform.
