Piano Lessons

In my lessons I give my students direction of what to focus on (within the technique/reading/theory/aural skills/repertoire etc.) whilst emphasizing the actual enjoyment of making music. Over the years I have gained experience in teaching in a wide range of musical styles with students of all ages. Now and here (in my music room with grand piano and good acoustics in Glebe) I would like to continue teaching. You (or your child!) are very welcome to come in for a free try-out lesson!

Floor van der Holst

My name is Floor van der Holst and I am from the Netherlands. I studied Musicology and classical singing and piano in Amsterdam, whereafter I moved to Barcelona to study jazz singing. In July 2011 I moved to Sydney to record my first album with music written by myself (due out early February) and to work as a music teacher.
