Piano Lessons

I love the piano and enjoy playing piano, I’d like to share my skills with others. I am 19 years old this year and is quite new with teaching piano. I am currently teaching a few beginners. Teaching is something I’ve been interested in for a long time and I’d like to help beginners find the beauty of piano, and help intermediate players develop their skills and a better understanding of the piano. I am available from Thursday-Sunday and times are negotiable with me. I’d like to teach beginners or those who have played for up to 2-3 years, and I will try my best to make the lessons fun and memorable. I will provide worksheets and notes if needed. I am also willing to teach in Chinese (Mandarin) if needed.

My name is Helen Cai and I’m currently a 1st year student studying a double degree of Commerce and Arts at Monash University.

I love music and my high school life has been centred around it, as I have participated in many ensembles including the Senior Choir, Stage Band, Synthesiser Ensemble, Infinity Vocal Ensemble and the Infinity Strings Ensemble. I have played the piano since the age of 5 and achieved AmusA of Piano in 2011. I have participated in two school concerto concerts as a soloist in 2013 and 2015.

I am an optimistic and friendly person, willing to share my passion for music with all my students and try my best to make their learning entertaining and enjoyable. So do not be afraid to contact me for some interesting piano lessons!
