Piano Lessons

In Private Lessons, students are taught how to play with principles of technique and musicianship integrated in lessons. Relevant theory and general musical knowledge elements are interwoven in the form of musicboard work, flashcards, listening, composition, and music games, to maximise the learning within each lesson.

Students are able to sit AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) Practical and Musicianship exams, or simply enjoy learning for fun. Various performance and extension opportunities are offered to students throughout the year, such as studio concerts, workshops and holiday programs.

Kiralee Maxwell

Kiralee Maxwell, Twinkles 2 Trills Founder and Principal Teacher, is passionate about inspiring students with music. Having started her musical journey as a young Suzuki piano student at the age of 4, Kiralee continued to develop her musical skills by progressing through the NSW HSC Extension Music Syllabus and AMEB Practical and Musicianship levels. Most recently, Kiralee completed a Bachelor of Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is an accredited Piano Teacher by the NSW Music Teachers Association.

Kiralee has been teaching music students since 2000, and has enjoyed the challenges and joys involved thus far. Kiralee has the enthusiasm, initiative and dedication required to create an environment in which students are encouraged to develop their skills, fulfil their potential, and most importantly, enjoy their musical journey.
