Liverpool Academy of Music

The Liverpool Academy of Music was established in the 1950s by an English violinist, Lawrie Thisleton. Today, the Liverpool Academy of Music in Sydney’s South West, has grown to become one of the largest music schools in Australia.

Our Director is Steve Flack, an accomplished classical guitarist and jazz musician, who learned his craft from and has worked with many famous Australian artists.

We have innovative and highly qualified music teachers and teaching practices with experienced male & female teachers.

We encourage our students to use our library and practice more effectively with our instructional learning CDs.
