Piano Lessons

I provide affordable piano lessons for students of all ages in a variety of styles and genres of music. In addition to practical piano learning, lessons include improvisation, theory, rhythm, and aural activities designed to enhance students’ overall musicianship.

For me, no-one is “just a piano student”. I try to genuinely get to know my students as I consider it to be an important step towards meeting their unique learning needs and interests. It is also my aim to reveal to them the value of learning an instrument as a means of engaging in music-making.

Hi, my name is Luisa and I am a Blue Card registered piano teacher who teaches at my home in Carindale. I hold a dual degree in music and secondary education from the University of Queensland and an AMus A in piano.
