Olena’s students receive excellent results in both practical and written examinations, and have been prizewinners in many piano contests. On many occasions her students have also been highly praised by examiners and adjudicators for their outstanding achievements in piano playing. Many private students studying for their HSC music course have scored above 90. However, although exams are an excellent way to motivate students and show they progress, students may want to enjoy playing without the pressure of exams.

Olena is strongly committed to providing excellent results to each of her students. Her training style incorporates classical training from the Russian School of Music, as well as new and innovative teaching strategies that accommodate the individual needs of students. Furthermore, she uses strategies and techniques to ensure a positive and encouraging environment in which students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
