I have 27 years of experience in piano teaching. I am a friendly, fun, engaging and dynamic teacher. I have taught at my private studio and at schools. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching and seeing all my students develop their music skills and express themselves through music. I also believe it’s very important for the students to have good techniques, to play expressively, and to learn a variety of repertoire rather than just practising exam pieces. Many of my students develop their love of playing the piano and continue to the advanced levels. As a result of my persistent, non-pushy and highly efficient teaching, over 90% of my students received an “A” or “A+” grading in AMEB music exams and Year 12 music.
