Piano Lessons

I give piano lessons to students of all ages, with an emphasis on fun and effective teaching methods learned through my own experiences and the latest research into music teaching.

Learning music is a very important part of a child’s development. Not only can it be a fun hobby, it can increase the child’s dexterity, memory, and offset mental health conditions. This does not only apply to children, and adults also gain a benefit through increased control of their hands and fingers, among other benefits.

My lessons focus on creating a fun learning environment that seeks to educate students not only on how to play the piano, but to also learn practice/study habits, the ability to improve themselves and the simple joy of music.

Shaun Fletcher

I am a third year university student studying Music and Education at the University of New South Wales, with a major in French horn and pedagogy. The aim of all my lessons with students is to provide a fun environment to allow them to grow into fine musicians.

With over 12 years of experience in music, I am able to teach French horn, piano and music theory. I also teach to the AMEB examinations.

I currently offer lesson for French horn, piano and music theory for $50 p/hr, in either half hour or hour lessons. Lessons are conducted usually conducted at my home, however other arrangements can be made if necessary.
