Ash teachers Piano to students of all ages. He teaches a wide variety of styles/genre’s to his students, and also teaches the student how to utilize their ‘EARS’ in order to enable them to eventually teach themselves.

Singit Music School is a singing/music school based in Melbourne providing students with a number of services to choose from i.e.
• Singing lessons
• Online Singing lessons via Skype
• Song writing and recording sessions
• Preparation for performances/auditions

• Beginners Piano
In addition to teaching vocals to students we also encourage students to learn an instrument which will enable them to become more of a well rounded artist. Having the ability to play an instrument and sing allows the student to tap into their creative side and write their own songs. We also give students the opportunity to professionally record their own songs if they wish. The school also holds annual concerts and various events which give the student the chance to sing in front of an audience.
We will help students with the following:

• Reduce tension in vocal chords
• Increase power and projection
• Remove any vocal issues, i.e. tired vocals or loss of voice
• Increase vocal range
• Performance techniques
• Gain an understanding in the fundamental concepts behind the voice
• Gaining the confidence to sing in front of people

Ash has been working as a Singer in the Melbourne music scene for a number of years and has also been playing a wide variety of musical instruments since he could speak. He has a strong background in percussion instruments such as the African Drum (Djembe), Indian percussion instruments, and also plays the Drums. He has also been teaching percussion for a number of years. With a background in these various percussion instruments, this makes Ash quite a unique vocalist. He is able to adapt to many different styles/genre’s of music and therefore is able to teach a wider variety of students and pass on his knowledge to them. Given that he can also play Guitar and Piano, he also provides lessons in both these instruments. Ash has the mindset that everyone has the ability to sing and play an instrument, if and only if the student has a genuine interest and love for music.

Ash is a very warm and down to earth person, who enjoys teaching and it brings him great joy and satisfaction to see his students flourish over time. He has a strong belief that everyone has the ability to sing and play an instrument no matter what age, if and only if the student has a genuine love for music.
