Piano/Keyboard Lessons

Skilled WAAPA Piano Student. 3 years teaching experience with AMEB. Students have achieved high results (distinctions and above). Classical and contemporary students welcome.

Minimum 45 minute lessons per student, or 1 hour per household. Tuition fees cover travel surcharge within the local area.

Aural tutoring also available for all skill levels.

Timothy Holland

Timothy has taught Piano and musicianship since 2011 in both Perth, WA and Melbourne, Victoria.

Timothy holds a Bachelor of Music after graduating with high distinction from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2015.

Timothy doesn’t believe in a ‘method-book only approach’, making lessons a fun and dynamic mix of practical and theoretical training. He welcomes students of all ages to learn Piano or refine their existing skills. For younger students, Timothy keeps lessons interesting with interactive games, composing activities, and occasional competitions.

Timothy is passionate about ensuring students are all given the ability to perform in front of a live audience. He will be working to arrange events such as afternoon recitals or end-of-year concerts.

Continually updating teaching skills to reflect the dynamic nature of teaching is important to Timothy, and this is reflected by his participation in teaching conferences and workshops with the purpose of enhancing the lesson experiences of all students.
