Our music teaching is designed to engage, inspire and foster a life-long love of music.
Anthea & Mark are our founding partners, who have worked together in Adelaide for 35 years. Our associate teachers train with Anthea & Mark and are chosen for their ability to communicate an enjoyment of both music and life and desire to share that enjoyment with students; respect for each and every student, of any age or level of advancement; perseverance in encouraging each and every student to reach their potential and their fullest enjoyment in playing music & their dedication to continue learning and playing their instrument and to be a musical role model.
Our focus is on teaching musical independence and understanding through lively and enjoyable musical experience. We consider our students to be part of our circle of musical friends, and hold regular informal musical evenings at home, to encourage relaxed and sociable playing and performing opportunities. More formal Recitals are also held for our students several times a year, and exam preparation is another popular option for our students. We are actively involved in playing music: Anthea and Claire enjoy providing solo piano music and can be booked for weddings & other functions. We are also accompanists, Anthea & Claire on piano and Mark on guitar, and can work with singers and instrumentalists on their exam or performance program.
