An emerging contemporary classical music composer, Lim has a catalogue of over eighty scores to his credit including two Operas, ten Symphonies, a Concerto for Piano and Full Symphony Orchestra, two Musicals, two Feature Films, three short films, a Requiem, Christmas Oratorio, Gallery installations, and 2 Documentaries.

Lim works ranged from Gregorian Chants to Heavy metal music. His hope is to distinguish a creative inventory of his works, inventing, composing and developing new techniques in his composition. His broad range of works has earned him commissions and collaborations. Being 21, he is probably one of the youngest composers ever to receive a commission.

Lim has studied and worked with numerous composers & performers such as Edward Primrose, John Hines, Carl Vine, Christa Leahmann, David Johnston, George Ellis, Steve Fry, Ron Stevens, Deborah Wells, Marshall McGuire, Ludmila Beliavskaia, Adriana Von Runic, Chris Hunt, MCC Singers, SONG Company, Roland Peelman, Bozidar Kos, Michael Smetanin, Greg Scheimer, Nigel Butterley and Jessica Wells.

Lim currently is living in Sydney after recently being honoured by the Australian Government as a recipient of the Distinguished Talent Residence Status.

Lim�s performance credits include the Sydney Olympics 2000 Arts Festivals, WIMA 10th Anniversary Concert (Sydney Town Hall), Feast of the Tabernacles in Jerusalem where he composed and arranged for a Full Symphony Orchestra and Mass Choir of more than 500, a commissioned Christmas Oratorio at the Sydney Town Hall on Christmas Eve 2001. A Multimedia Gallery Installation to launch QE Art Exhibition as part of the SGLMG Festival 2002. �SEAN The Musical� Newtown Theatre (2000) – a full scale original musical which gained critical acclaim and reinforced Lim�s position as a contemporary composer in the Australian classical music industry.

Lim�s specialization in Praise and Worship has led to many invitations from many churches to conduct choirs and orchestras, to perform as a singer, to provide master classes, workshops and Leading Worship. In his 2002�s 3 months engagements in US, UK, EUROPE and ASIA he has visited more than 20 Concert Halls in Los Angeles, Dallas, Montpellier, London, Bournemouth, Amsterdam, Munich and Kuala Lumpur.

Lim gained a Bachelor of Creative Arts with High Distinctions in his Principal Studies from Wesley Institute for Ministry and the Arts (WIMA) and was awarded �Music Student of the Year� in 1999 and the University Medal. He is currently working towards his Ph.D.
