Do you love music?
Come and learn to play your favorite songs and styles in a fun environment!
Amy Welsh has been playing music since she was 4 years old – first learning the violin and flute – and taking up piano at 10 years old. She has over 10 years teaching experience, an A.Mus.A in Classical Flute, Grade 8 piano and spent 5 years learning from the best teachers at the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
She loves teaching and helping her students not only play the piano well but having fun and enjoying it along the way.
Lessons are tailored to cater to the students’ goals and preferred style. Importance is placed on creating a solid foundation of music theory and technique. Lessons are unique to the student’s age, personality and speed of learning.
Amy recognizes the value of having the opportunity to perform regularly not only for fun and to be able to share the students progress with loved ones, but also to encourage a confident and well rounded musician. Two recitals are held each year which students are encouraged to (but not pressured) participate in and also have the opportunity to compete in local competitions and the Eisteddfods.
For those students who are eager to progress through to higher grades, exams are also offered.
Give Amy a call or send her an email if you would like to have a chat, get more information or book a lesson :)
