Piano and Theory Lessons

My focus is on ensuring that each student gains great enjoyment from learning to play music.

I hold two concerts each year – one in July and one in December – so that students can develop composure and confidence in sharing their musical talent.

While students are not obliged to sit for exams, I can prepare them for all grades of Piano and Music Theory exams including preparation of their performance repertoire for SACE Stages 1 and 2.

I work on developing a good working relationship with each student in order to build a positive music experience.

After progressing through the ranks of the beginner levels, I allow students to select pieces of their choice rather than making them play something that does not really interest them.

There are no boundaries – students can play any piece from Mozart to Lady Gaga, as long as the arrangement is suitable for piano.
