Melinda Ceresoli is a highly qualified and experienced music teacher, with a passion for teaching kids with autism. She holds several postgraduate qualifications in music and education, and is a graduate Vocologist, from the National Centre for Voice and Speech, University of Utah. Melinda is currently undertaking ABA training to further assist students with more severe ASD.

AUSTRALIA’S FIRST MUSIC STUDIO DEDICATED TO STUDENTS WITH AUTISM/ASPERGERS – HERE IN MELBOURNE!

Melinda Ceresoli is one of Melbourne’s highest qualified and experienced singing and piano teachers, with a rich musical background – and a love for teaching kids & teens with ASD.

Melinda’s students are somewhere along the spectrum (Levels 1-3). Music programs are customised to meet the individual needs of each student. Learning aids can be incorporated for students who benefit from them, such as PECS, visual schedules, etc, to enhance learning.

Melinda places a strong focus on building confidence and self-esteem, and using music to help relax, and regulate emotions. Engaging in musical activities is known to also assist development – both cognitively and physically.

Melinda holds postgraduate qualifications in music and education, and is Australia’s first certified Vocologist, form the National Centre for Voice and Speech, University of Utah. She is currently undertaking training in ABA, to further assist younger students with more severe ASD.

Melinda has taught music in secondary and tertiary departments, and is the former Head of Voice and Aural Studies and Box Hill Institute. She is a singing adjudicator and examiner, and has performed hundreds of live and studio gigs, since her teens.
