Piano Lessons

Beverly Katz is a piano teacher based in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. She has built up a solid reputation working as a teacher and accompanist at many schools throughout Sydney. She currently teaches piano from her private studio in Double Bay.

Beverly is very experienced in training students for exams, having spent years preparing piano students of all ages for AMEB and Trinity Examinations, with excellent results.

She has received degrees from University of Natal and Witwatersrand (S. Africa), as well as Licentiates in Teaching and Performing (Piano). Beverly studied music / piano with distinguished teachers including Adolph Hallis and Moira Birks, and was privileged to have private masterclasses with world renown artists such as Peter Frankel and Menachem Pressler.

Beverly strongly believes in imparting to her students a rounded musical knowledge, and an appreciation and love of music. Her goal is the sense of fulfillment for pupil and teacher alike.
