Piano Practical & Theory Lessons

Hello, I’m Charmaine. Having learnt the piano since a young age, music is one of my passions which I’d love to share with others.

I’m an experienced and qualified teacher, who is patient and encouraging with children.
I’ve been teaching both private piano practical and group theory lessons for a few years now (initially under training in a studio) and as I’m starting Uni next year, I have opened up more time slots to teach both piano practical and theory lessons to children who are interested in music.

I have achieved my AMEB AMusA Diploma in Pianoforte and a Distinction for AMEB Grade 5 Theory. I have also completed the WACE Western Arts Music 3AB course – being one of the top 2 students in the class.
Currently, I’m pursuing my LMusA Diploma and my Grade 6 Theory.

I’m good with children and I have experience teaching children as young as 5yrs old. One of my most recent students achieved a high distinction for her grade 4 AMEB Theory of Music exam.
