Hello, my name is Christel,

I live in Lynbrook/Melbourne, and I am an International student. I have just arrived in Melbourne, I am 25 yo, and I have studied piano for 20 years, and I’m teaching since I’m 18. I have a Licentiate in piano performance (from ABRSM) and a Grade8 in Music Theory (ABRSM).
I’ve studied piano in France with a French teacher for 11 years then with a Russian teacher for 9 years. I will be able to dispense all the needed about Russian technique and French touch for classical pieces. I can teach in both French and English, from very beginners to advance students.
I can also do accompaniment for all grades/level, all exams and everything as long as there is a piano sheet :)

If you have a piano or keyboard at home and don’t live too far from my location, I can give home lessons for $30 half hour, $35 for 45 minutes and $40 for one hour.
But these are negociable…

I generally teach one hour in a private lesson, doing 30 minutes theory and all the basics and 30 minutes practicing piano, but it’s at the parents choice.

Hello,

I’m Christel, I have travelled from France to Mauritius, then to Australia. I’ve been a music teacher in a conservatoire for several years, and I loved it. I really like working with children, and it’s so a great pleasure to see them achieve something as an exam or even mastering a new piece. I would like to meet new people here, and help children understand this beautiful language which is music. I taught piano, but also theory, some aural training for ABRSM exams and I did a lot of piano accompaniment.
I have prepared students for exams for several years (both theory and piano) and they’ve never failed. I think I am patient enough but not too soft when it requires…

Everyone should be able to have access to music knowledge, so my fees are not fix. they are negotiable and they vary according to the level of the student.
