Piano Lessons

Piano lessons provided for beginners to intermediate players. Children and adults.

Depending on your interests and goals you can choose between classical and moderns styles. Lessons may involve preparation for AMEB exams, recitals, competitions or simply for fun.

Lessons provided at my home (Wollert) on a Yamaha C3 grand piano.

Alternatively I am willing to travel to your place for lessons for an additional travel fee.

Connor Taylor

I am currently completing my Master of Music (Performance Teaching) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I completed my Bachelor of Music (majoring in piano performance) in July 2015. I was awarded my AMusA (piano) in 2004 and AMEB grade 6 Theory in 2012. I am a member of the Victorian Music Teachers’ Association (VMTA) and hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Although I am classically trained, I teach a variety of genres including Jazz and Pop as well as classical music. I also provide atmospheric music at weddings and special events and have entertained visitors at Government House on Australia Day for the past 4 years.

I am a passionate musician and music educator with more than 12 years teaching experience. I enjoy teaching students of all capabilities and ages. My special interest is in understanding and catering to different learning styles so that every student can achieve their musical goals.
