I have 18 years of experience as a musician and teacher. My approach is based upon enhancing confidence and enjoyment of music whilst improving musical skills. I tailor my lessons to suit the individual student and through motivational techniques help them to achieve their goals in a positive and fun environment.

I have experience in preparing students of all ages for exams with AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) and teaching for personal enjoyment.

I am a member of AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) and hold a valid
Working with children card

I also accompany on the piano for students preparing for exams in the violin, cello, flute, trumpet etc…

There are three levels. At the completion of each level the children get to perform to a very appreciative audience and are awarded a certificate.

The child gets to own his own music book which includes a cd and a mascot!
