Keyboard is a great instrument to start on. It is easy to understand and play. It helps on hand-eye co-ordination and brain development for children. Learning music also improves concentration. Young students only require to know numbers (1-10) and a few alphabet (A-G) to start learning.

Students are separated in groups according to age and levels (New starter, Beginner, Intermediate and Advance).

For New starter and Beginner classes, the objective of the lesson is to make students love and enjoy music. Introducing musical concepts and build up a solid music foundation in theory and practical skills is the goal of this course. After building a strong foundation, students are progress to intermediate level classes.

The guitar is a great instrument for beginners. It is suitable for people of all ages, with different musical backgrounds or with no prior musical knowledge or experience, in quite a short time to learn enough to play along with a huge number of songs.

Situated near the Berala train station, Discovery Art & Music is a newly established centre providing art and music courses for all levels and ages. We believe in the art of assisting discovery, helping students explore their talents and interests in art and music and develop them into skills.

For the art courses, we run Art & Craft and Painting & Drawing classes in small groups for children aged 5 or above. For music courses, we offer Keyboard, Guitar and Piano classes for all ages either in small groups or individual lessons structured to suit the needs of students of all ages and ability, whether learning for fun or preparing for exams.

We are open 6 days a week during the school terms, with special holiday programs to be organised in school term breaks.
