Dr Killian’s studio offers expert tuition to artistically engaged students of the piano and its literature. Dr Killian places emphasis on developing the natural musicality inherent in every human being into a truly individual artistic voice. In her students she cultivates reverence for the highest ideals of musicianship, together with bold-hearted enthusiasm for personal and creative self-expression. Dr Killian works with her students to build living and individualized technical relationships with the instrument based on a kinaesthetic approach to touch and tone production, dexterity and power.
Lessons are offered on a Yamaha grand piano..
Students are assisted in their preparation for performances, examinations (AMEB and VCE), eisteddfods and competitions, and auditions.
