Hi,

My name is Emily and I have been teaching piano for 11 years, starting at the age of 16. I have plenty of experience teaching all ages in varying styles, from Jazz to Classical, Music theory and Music Composition. I have the skills to tutor beginner to intermediate students, as well as those who need an extra hand with their high school Music studies. I am able to prepare students for their AMEB exams, with a 100% pass rate. I have never had a student receive below a B for practical, or 90% for theory.

I have completed a Bachelor of Music (composition) and a Graduate Diploma in Music Education at The University of UWA and am furthering my studies to a Masters at the University of Melbourne.

I strive to be a fun, caring and patient piano teacher.

I travel within the local area and the areas listed.

Commencement is based on audition.

My name is Emily and I am a highly qualified, young and experienced Piano, Theory, Composition and Music Classroom teacher (PP-Year 12).

My teaching style is adjusted to suit the needs and goals of the student. I always aim to make sure my lessons are engaging, energetic and motivational. I create games and schedules that have proven to motivate students who find it challenging to stay focused. My passion is to educate and to install a love of music in every student I teach.

11 years experience teaching piano, 5 years in the classroom.

Fees:
$35 per 1/2 hour in the morning
$40 for 1/2 hour lesson in the afternoon/evening
$80 per hour lesson at all times.

$30 Skype piano/theory lessons

Lessons are conducted from the comfort of your home, or it can be requested to have lessons on a Yamaha Upright in my apartment in Port Melbourne.
