PIANO LESSONS

Piano lessons are taught in Erica’s Balaclava studio two days a week by Nathan Liow. Nathan is a professional pianist, and has taught in primary and secondary schools throughout Melbourne since 2010. He is highly experienced in tutoring students of all ages, from young children to adults. All levels welcome, beginner to advanced.

Any style or interest will be accommodated – be it learning for fun, for leisure, for exams, for auditions. Contemporary, jazz, improvisation or traditional classical approaches can be employed – just ask and I will show you the way!

Students can study piano with Nathan alongside voice, guitar or songwriting with Erica Bramham.

Nathan is also available to travel to surrounding areas for a small travel charge.

CONTEMPORARY SINGING, GUITAR, PIANO, BASS, UKULELE, SONGWRITING & MUSIC THEORY LESSONS IN BALACLAVA

Erica Bramham is a professional musician, composer and music teacher with extensive experience tutoring voice, guitar, ukulele and songwriting to children and adults of all skill levels.

Since commencing her teaching practice, Erica’s Balaclava studio has expanded to include piano lessons with Nathan Liow and double and electric bass lessons with Adam Spiegl.

Erica, Nathan and Adam are all graduates from the Victorian College of the Arts with Honours degrees in jazz and improvised music. They are highly experienced teachers, and have developed a broad and professional teaching repertoire that focusses on bringing out the best in their students regardless of their skill level and musical goals.

Lessons are tailored to suit your own goals and requirements, and professional worksheets and handouts are provided where relevant.

Lessons are available in any one / combination of the following:

- composition / songwriting lessons

- AMEB / Rock School / VCE Music / Exam / Audition preparation

Lessons are taught from Erica’s Balaclava studio, close to Balaclava train station and trams. There is also some availability for teachers to travel to surrounding areas.
