Giovanna Van Leeuwen

Pianist – Teacher – Educator – Composer

In 2015 Giovanna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in (Music & Sociology) from the University of NSW. During her degree she has completed studies on Music Performance, Composition, Jazz ensemble Performance, Improvisation, Harmony, Jazz History, Music Psychology, Italian, Sociology and Anthropological studies.

Giovanna has held teaching positions at ISM (International School of Music at Turramurra) and Inner West Music College, Summer Hill as a teacher and accompanist.

She also performs solo for weddings and functions.

Giovanna teaches from her Studio on Sussex St, Sydney (near Town Hall).

Playing by ear
Preparation for AMEB performance & theory exams
