Grace Leonard BMus (Perf)

Grace graduated from the University of Newcastle, Conservatorium of Music in 2014 with a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with Distinction, in Classical Voice, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney.

Grace has been the recipient of the Norman Bushman Scholarship for Studies Relating to Voice, 2014.

Grace currently performs as a member of the Sydney Philharmonia Chamber Singers under the direction of Brett Weymark. She has toured internationally with Echology (the University ofvNewcastle Chamber Choir) and Gondwana Chorale (Australia’s national youth choir), and is a former member and Choral Scholar of the Christ Church Cathedral Choir in Newcastle.

In 2014, Grace played the role of Sharon in the National Theatre Company’s production of Master Class, and has performed as a chorus member in various productions in Newcastle. In 2015, she was a Young Artist at the Canberra International Music Festival.

Grace is passionate about teaching, nurturing her students love and enjoyment of music whilst developing their skills, technique and musicianship.
