Piano for Leisure - Go Places!

Have you always wanted to play the piano? Or you have a child who would benefit from playing a musical instrument, creating new neural pathways and learning discipline skills?
I provide private piano/keyboard lessons in my well-equipped studio.
My lessons are warm and friendly and my students make great progress. I prepare students for AMEB P Plate Piano and Piano for Leisure programs. Students may elect to undertake external examination.
I am happy to take beginners, students with learning disabilities and mature-aged students.

Have you or your child always wanted to play music? Or do you want to revisit your music skills? My aim is to help people Go Places!

I have wide-ranging experience as a qualified music teacher, teaching individual lessons on piano, clarinet, flute, oboe and saxophone. Music technology is an integral part of my lessons.

I focus on the development of neural pathways, helping students to understand how to master new skills. I help students to bring more discipline into their lives. I incorporate Somato Respiratory Integration to assist students in developing body and breath awareness and to enhance learning outcomes.

I am able to prepare students for AMEB and VCE examinations. I have over 20 years experience teaching VCE Music Performance as a classroom and an instrumental teacher and am able to assist students in all areas of VCE Music Performance including Aural Comprehension skills.

I hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
