Henrique Dib is an award-winner composer, music producer, pianist and teacher based in Potts Point (Sydney, Australia). His passion for music, composition and improvisation goes beyond explanation.

He graduated in 2009 from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with an Honours First-Class Degree in composition and the University of Sydney Medal. During his studies, Henrique received an unprecedented number of composition scholarships, 14 in total, including USYD’s International Merit Scholarship for 5 consecutive years. He was also included in the Dean’s list of excellence in academic performance and received an invitation to join the Golden Key International Honours Society. 
As a teacher, Henrique has over 18 years of experience in teaching music both privately and in classes. He taught jazz, classical and popular piano, as well as music theory, jazz harmony, jazz improvisation, composition and music production and technology at Pro-Music School (one of the most prestigious music schools in Brazil). Currently, Henrique teaches privately at his own music studio in Potts Point and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (USYD).

He taught jazz, classical and popular piano, as well as music theory, jazz harmony, jazz improvisation, composition and music production and technology at Pro-Music School (one of the most prestigious music schools in Brazil). Currently, Henrique teaches privately at his own music studio in Potts Point and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (USYD).

As a composer, Henrique writes music for feature and short films, documentaries, animations, trailers, television, commercials, games, commissions, and concert music. Some of his clients include: TESLTRA, FOXTEL, KIA MOTORS, UNICEF, ALSTOM, LANOLIPS, HOW TO CHANNEL, OPSM, THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY, BT FINANCIAL GROUP and the AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT. His music has been performed in Australia, Sweden, Germany, Italy, China, France, Finland and Brazil.

Some of his composition achievements include: Winner of 2016 LONDON FILM AWARD (Best Television Commercial); Top finalist of ASA – AUSTRALIAN SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION (36th National Songwriting Awards 2016); Winner of the APRA-AMCOS Tropscore 2015; Top 5 finalists for the APRA Professional Development Award 2015; Top finalists for the APRA Tropscore 2014; Top finalists for the APRA Tropscore 2013 (December edition); Second prize winner for the APRA Tropscore 2013 (February edition); Triple nomination for the APRA-AGSC Screen Music Awards 2013; Nomination for the APRA-AGSC Screen Music Awards 2012; Nomination for the APRA-AGSC Screen Music Awards 2011; Nomination for the APRA-AGSC Screen Music Awards 2010; and Second prize for the David Tribe Symphonic Music Award in 2007.

As a performer, Henrique is a pianist, keyboard and piano-accordion player. He performs regularly as a freelancer musician in Australia and overseas. Apart from his work as a composer, performer and teacher, he also produces and arranges tracks for a wide range of clients and musical styles and has five years experience as a music copyist.
