I have taught piano individually and in groups for ten years. I like to teach a very rounded approach including technique, repertoire, aural, memory, theory and historical contexts. My aim is to teach for understanding and long term retention, not simply rote and memorisation.

I expect students to practice. I love teaching and like to make it fun. Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons.

I have completed a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Piano and Pedagogy from the QLD Conservatorium, and also have my A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A. I have recorded and toured solo and with bands in the pop industry and gigged extensively with jazz, pop, classical and religious and original music.

I am recently married and love having music in my life and sharing it with others.
