As a teacher, I have over 15 years of experience in piano, organ, keyboard, theory, and group classes. I have endeavoured to inspire and motivate my students to reach their potentials and achieve their goals as budding musicians. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to have many gifted and talented students who had successes in piano competitions, eisteddfods, music scholarships and some have even follow a career in the music field. To that end I have constantly strived to cultivate excellence in my students. As a solo performer and musician, I have constantly explored in as many avenues as possible, including solo performances, orchestral and accompaniment performances, chamber music, conducting in both vocal and brass band and have adjudicated piano, keyboard and organ competitions. I have worked with many notable musicians such as Larry Sitsky, Michael Harvey, David Pereira, Susan Powell, Gabor Rozsa and many others. I have been a recepient of music scholarships and have been awarded numerous prizes in competitions and eisteddfods. I feel that as a teacher, it is my responsibility to be a role model, to nurture my students to appreciate, understand and love music but most of all, to help them achieve their own individual potentials.
