My teaching focuses on developing a confident technique, an in-depth understanding of repertoire, historical context, theory and aural skills in a fun and happy learning environment.

There is music within us all! It allows us to emotionally communicate and express ourselves and I hope to foster this love for music in all my students.

Jack Mao

Jack Mao is currently studying a Bachelor of Music, majoring in piano performance and a Bachelor of Education at the University of New South Wales. He has extensive experience performing on both the piano and the guitar. Recently, he was a prizewinner at the Sydney Eisteddfod.

Jack has an innate passion for teaching and aims to inspire and guide his students towards achieving their goals and dreams. He loves working with each student individually, watching them perform and nurturing them into musicians. Outside music, he loves reading, cooking, games and travelling!
