James Feagai

I am a full-time musician who plays regularly with many of Brisbane’s noted vocalists, instrumentalists and bands. Two of these bands (‘Banawurun’ and ‘Mr Laneous & the Family-Yah’) have toured Australia and overseas during the past few years. I have studied classical and jazz piano and play all styles (classical, jazz, pop, reggae, funk, soul etc) as well as having extensive experience as a music director and repetiteur in music theatre. Currently I am playing regular gigs and collaborating with a variety of artists on a few album projects. I’m also a piano teacher at Fireworks School of Music at Kelvin Grove.
