Piano Lessons for All Ages

I believe music should be a positive experience whether it be through Classical or Popular styles. My lessons are fun and innovative while students gain a thorough knowledge of music.

I currently teach students of all ages, from 4 years old to 80 years. All are welcome!

Whether it be music games with pre-schoolers; AMEB exams with more experienced students; or grandparents getting back into piano after many years, each lesson caters to the individual learning style of the student.

I like to make music engaging and positive, incorporating elements such as flash-cards, sticker charts, prizes and certificates for those students who put effort into their practice. I also like to keep students interested by including the odd christmas carol or pop song in their repertoire. From experience I believe these aspects keep students focussed and eager to learn.

Jana Lazaris

I am a bubbly and enthusiastic experienced piano teacher who wants to share her love of music. I can teach students of all ages, both in piano and theory lessons.

I have had five years of teaching experience, two of which have been with a local music school. I am currently completing a BMus/BArts degree at UNSW as well as undertaking AMusA qualification. In addition to this, I have been involved in rock bands, orchestras and contemporary ensembles.

I am happy to help students of any age reach their music potential – whether it be AMEB exams, help with school-related music subjects, or learning pop music for fun!

My goal is to help students find a love for music. I believe everyone’s life is enriched by music, and that music should reach all people through positivity and happiness.

I believe music is an important part of developing social, physical and academic skills in all people. It also teaches patience and discipline in young minds while helping them to become creative and cultured.
