Piano Lessons (for both children and adults)

I am a classically trained pianist experienced in teaching both children and adults. My previous career has also included eight years of tertiary teaching during which time I was awarded an ANU Commendation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning.

As a music teacher I aim to share the joy of music making with my students. At the same time I strive to keep the learning process a rewarding one, and see to it that students make steady progress.

I teach from my home studio in Gungahlin, and welcome students of all ages. Lessons will be tailored to the needs of individual students, and will cover both performance and music theory. Students will have the opportunity to regularly perform in concerts, and those wishing to take AMEB and similar exams will receive thorough exam prepration. My rates are as follows.

30 minutes: $40
45 minutes: $60
60 minutes: $80

My students have consistently achieved outstanding results in piano and theory exams conducted by the AMEB, and have won a large number of First Place and other awards in piano competitions in and around Canberra.
