Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are offered for young children to adults whether complete beginners or working towards more advanced levels (up to AMEB grade 8). This is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced and fun educator who performs frequently as an orchestral musician, soloist and accompanist.

Lessons can be taken privately or as part of the Junior Music School (JMS) program at UWA in Crawley. More information about JMS is available at their website (http://www.music.uwa.edu.au/community/junior). Enrolments after start of semester are possible – simply contact me to arrange this.

Private lessons are taught at my studio in Rossmoyne. Pricing is $35 per 30 mins to $65 per 60 minutes. 30 minute lessons are suitable for beginners but 45 or 60 minutes sessions are possible for more advanced students.

Travel to homes is possible at additional cost depending on location.

Joel Bass

Joel works on a diverse range of musical projects as a percussionist, pianist and conductor. He performs regularly with the percussion section of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, has delivered top-scoring solo recitals at UWA, has performed as a concerto soloist with the West Australian Youth Orchestra and has played as both principal percussionist and timpanist with the Australian Youth Orchestra. As a pianist he performs regularly as an accompanist for eisteddfods and university recitals. Joel was the top music graduate of his year at UWA and has over eight years experience as an instrumental music educator.
