Originally from Queensland, Joel’s background ranges from musical theatre to choral singing, instrumental music and music composition.

He has studied under the renowned Helen Tiller in the Estill Vocal method.

His recent performance credits include: Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens (Miles, Paul Holmes Productions) NYC: A Concert, Flaw Play and Flaw Play: Relapsed (cabaret), Generation whY? (with Hayden Tee), Sam – Showtime: The Musical (Ensemble Theatre), Showqueen Sundays, Peter Pan and Mad Hatter – Tokyo Disneyland (Oriental Land Company), Closer To Heaven (Australian Premiere – Other Production Company).

Creative credits: Flaw Play/Flaw Play: Relapsed (M.D.). In 2008, Joel had many of his own musical theatre pieces premiered.

Joel holds a Bachelor of Music Education (Composition) at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, a Diploma of Performing Arts and is a proud graduate of NIDA Musical Theatre.
