Piano is at the centre of the music world. Everyone should learn to play, and if you sing or play another instrument then I recommend you learn Piano as well.

I promote the enjoyment of music and music appreciation – and thereby enhancing the learning process. This is done through recognised tried and tested syllabuses, and includes fundamentals of music without being boring.

I teach all ages and stages of piano in my studio, and yes, I have a real piano.

Learn for fun – the type of music you like, whether it is classical or modern. With a balance between playing for enjoyment and a thorough grounding in good technique.

Julie studied at the London College of Music, where she completed university studies in music and was awarded the title of Graduate of the London College of Music. During her career, Julie has sung and played in a range of London’s venues such as the famous Royal Albert Hall.

Julie is an accredited ABRSM, ANZCA and AMEB teacher for singing, piano, flute, saxophone and music theory. Julie recommends the ANZCA exam syllabus because it combines classical technique with modern songs, providing students with a thorough grounding in correct techniques while enjoying music styles that they like.

Please note that I have plenty of experience with children, and in accordance with Victorian legislation, I have a Working With Children (WWC) Check.
