I’ve played piano for over 30 years and I still love learning new things!
I am classically trained and this is my emphasis in teaching as I believe it gives you a solid grounding for moving onto jazz, blues, contemporary and improvisation in any style. I want to help you develop a solid understanding of good playing technique and music fundamentals, and most importantly, a love and enjoyment of playing your instrument.

Where and when: I teach during the day from my home in Kangaroo Point.

Who: Beginners of any age (over 7 years)

Learning anything new, at any age, changes your brain and fires up neurons you didn’t even know you had!
I’ve played piano for over 30 years and I still love learning. I play for joyful self-expression, releasing stress, having fun with friends, for challenging myself mentally and physically, and for quiet moments of self-reflection.
I’m classically trained and also play around with jazz and blues improvisation, and accompanying myself singing.
I have tailored lessons for adults so you are not starting off with Twinkle Twinkle. I also have fun lessons for little kids to allow them to explore and use their imagination.
