Many people ask if you need to buy a piano to learn, the answer is no! Beginners can get a decent keyboard that will last them years, which they can later upgrade to a digital piano or real piano when they become advanced players.

Learn for fun or to work towards exams. I have many students of all ages, including adults who sit exams, so age is no barrier, its never too late!

I teach children through to adults of all ages.
Preferably no children under the age of 8, but open to discuss requirements.

I have many students of all ages, including adults, taking exams through the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board). Students can take exams through other exam bodies if preferred.

I provide students structure to get the most out of their lesson time and ensure students understand how to successfully in progress and master techniques for quality practise time, without the need for long practise sessions.

About me:
I have 25 years experience in piano, with formal training in AMEB Classical and Music Theory.
I have 11 years experience teaching piano, keyboard and music theory, including exams and VCE music.
This includes private and group classes of all ages in my studio, student’s homes, primary schools and local music schools.
5 years experience in a band accompanying keyboard and backing vocals/harmonies/some lead, both as a hobby and professionally.
I have taken part in many music workshops including AMEB, Understanding Music Seminar & Songwriting and other workshops.
Teaching piano is my career and passion, and as such, I am to provide a positive learning environment for all students.
I will encourage students and build their passion and confidence where they will learn life-long transferrable skills.
