I am a singing/music specialist, and I would love to help you be the singer/performer/pianist you want to be. I want to help you have fun achieving your musical goals. Would you love to play all your favorite tunes on piano or sing and play all your favorite tunes? My lessons are fun, relaxed and designed to suit you and your personal needs. I teach all ages and levels beginner to professional. I am a highly qualified, accredited music/voice trainer, performance coach, performer and musical director with national and international experience. I specialize in coaching versatile singers and performers capable of all genres of vocal/musical performance from speech training, pop/rock, jazz, music theatre to classical. I have had 24 years successful teaching and industry experience and am able to assist you with career guidance, direction and industry contacts. During my career I have been vocal/music coach to numerous professional performers appearing in New York theatre productions, Queensland Theatre Company and La Boite Theatre Company productions as well as numerous festivals such as the Queensland Music Festival, Woodford and the Brisbane Festival, some of my students have gone on to secure places with London West End Theatre productions, International Cruise Liners shows, The Ten Tenors, Opera Queensland, Melbourne State Opera, Sony Records and popular T.V. Show’s. Piano Tuition: Piano styles taught in the training studio are: • Piano for the beginner – Starting from the very beginning this training is suited to let you go at your own pace while also helping you to meet your musical goal. The repertoire you will learn is a mixture of all your favorite songs. • Modern or Popular – This is a combination of Pop/Rock and Jazz Piano Styles and it is suited to the budding professional performer. • Sing & Play – Have you ever wanted to sing and play the piano, well here is your chance. Learn to Play as you learn to Sing. The repertoire you will learn is a mixture of all your favorite songs.

Hello music lovers, my name is Laine Loxlea-Danann. I am a multi faceted creative. Music and the creative arts are my absolute passion and fills my life. I work full time as an arts industry practitioner, vocal artist, performer, vocal and performance coach, song writer/ composer and musical director.

Music and singing has the ability to up lift and enrich us like little else I have experienced. It is my continuous pleasure to be involved with and surrounded by music.I hope you will join me to celebrate your love of music.

BIO
Laine Loxlea-Danann has had a diverse and highly successful career in the music industry working nationally and internationally. Laine graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 1989 and then again in 2015 attaining her Master in Music Studies. She is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Music and has worked professionally in the music industry as a performer, producer, musical director, composer, and voice/singing and performance craft coach for 26 years. Currently, Laine has the honour of working as a sessional singing teacher for the Queensland Conservatorium in the Musical Theatre department, the Jazz department and the Vocal Pedagogy Department. Laine has had an eclectic career professionally; it has included everything from opera, jazz, music theatre and pop. Laine has worked with companies such as Queensland Theatre Company, La Boîte Theatre Company, The Judith Wright Centre, The Queensland Performing Arts Centre, The Queensland Folk Federation, Musica Viva, The Queensland Music Festival, The Brisbane Festival, The Metro Arts Centre, The Bicentennial – Voices and Visions, The West End Theatre Company, Q150 Shed Tour Festival and The Brisbane Powerhouse. In 2001 Laine was invited to perform in Italy at the Tolentino Theatre as part of a relief concert for volcano victims. She also has a Double Diploma in Vocational Education and Training and Training Design and Development and held the position of Head of Music at the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts. Thriving on music, theatre and the creative arts, Laine is committed to working diversely, creatively and with a song in her heart.
