Piano Lessons

I received my AMEB Grade 8, and have a very good understanding of how to teach little ones piano! I am also able to teach and train students for AMEB exams, both classical piano and also piano for leisure. I do not take students from AMEB Grade 6 and above, simply as I am a busy teacher, but am happy to direct students to colleagues more qualified when the time comes.

My students hold an Honours average for AMEB exams.

I hold a valid Working with Children’s Check.

Laura Nichols B. Mus (Melb. Uni)

I have performed extensively with the Royal Australian Navy Band, and have also been involved in many pop and jazz bands around Melbourne, performing at some of Melbourne’s best both large and small establishments.

I have been taught under some of the finest singers in Australia, who have taught me that technique is vital, especially for those with aspirations of being a successful singer in occupation. I have completed a Bachelor of Music Performance at the University of Melbourne (Victorian College of the Arts), and am now embarking on my Masters of Music (Teaching). I hold a valid Working with Children’s Check and Police Check.

I love music, and am ready and willing to pass on my knowledge to those who are interested in singing, either for leisure or more professionally.
