Loreen’s Music, home-based music school in Melbourne (Doncaster East) was established in 2009. Loreen Lai, a professional classical pianist and violist, is currently studying her Music Performance Degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
Loreen’s Music offers: Private Piano & Violin Lesson – AMEB Examinations, Music Theory, Aural Training, Piano Accompaniment
Lessons are implemented to suit each individual student’s learning pace and musical style, to allow each student to embrace the beauty and joy of music.
Loreen is blessed to have had refined classical training (in both piano and violin) since age 4, from various reknown pianists – Sonny Chua, Australian pianist and composer; Darryl Coote, Australian pianist and partner of the Team of Pianists; and Glenn Riddle, concert pianist/conductor at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Simultaneously musically trained by violin teachers – Fintan Murphy, Head of Strings at Monash University School of Music and Director of the Melbourne Strings Ensemble; and Miwako Abe, Associate Professor of Music and Head of the String Department at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Loreen broadcasted on the Australian 3MBS Radio Station for her piano performance in “Rising Stars Concert”, receiving 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and various honorable mentions in multiple piano and violin competitions, public concerts and gigs at weddings and restaurants, solo and ensemble performances at charity events – “Missional Youth Christian Conference 2012”, “Japan Charity Night 2011”.

Loreen’s Music, home-based Music School located in Doncaster East, Melbourne. Loreen is an AMEB Piano, Violin & Theory Teacher. Teaching students of all ages:
(Inclusive of all Mainstream Syllabuses, For Leisure Syllabuses, Suzuki Method).
As a young Professional Classical Pianist and Violinist, she studied Masters of Occupational Therapy, as well as furthering her Music Performance Degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. With close to a decade of extensive teaching experience, Loreen has taught Beginners as young as 4y.o to mature-aged students. Piano & Violin Students have obtained Honours and High Distinction results in AMEB examinations, as well as winning annual Eisteddfod Awards – Manningham, Boroondara, Waverley etc.
Her wide teaching experience involves teaching both Privately and in School. With a current Student Load of 35+ students a week, 90% of students have attained A/A+ AMEB Exam results.
Since age 4, Loreen has learnt Piano with various reknown pianists – Sonny Chua, Australian Composer and Concert Pianist; Darryl Coote, Australian Pianist and Partner of the Team of Pianists; and Leading Concert Pianist and teacher, Glenn Riddle at The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
