Piano Lessons

One on one lessons, available both at my place of residence or yours. I always focus on fun and leisure while guiding students to develop understanding and skill as musicians. Lessons delve into classical technique and music, jazz and contemporary music, exam or school preparation, improvisation, music theory, reading and so much more.

Loren Brealey

I am a passionate, energetic and experienced private instrumental teacher. I offer lessons in saxophone, piano and music theory.

I have been studying and teaching music for all of my adult life, and am experienced and fluent in both the AMEB and VCE syllabuses.
I provide private lessons to suit students wishing to learn simply for leisure and/or undertake examinations, and aim to provide students with a strong and versatile understanding of music and their chosen instrument; enabling students to become well rounded musicians.
I have 7 years of private teaching experience, while I am also employed in a number of private teaching institutions.

I have experience with students of all ages (4 to 74!), as I am keen and capable of teaching beginners to those more advanced. I have studied at a tertiary level under the close direction of James Morrison, graduating with an Associate Degree in Music.
