Highly aducational but also enjoyable lessons for every age. Specialty of beginner and early childhood piano teaching. Ameb exams offered but not essential. Theory and musicianship offered within the one lesson.

Mardi Chillingworth B.Mus

Currently Mardi is a professional performing musician and teacher. 20 years experience as a freelance orchestral experience, she is currentely playing with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and has played with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Philharmonia, to name just a few. She has been in many shows, operas and recordings in both the classical and pop genres. Apart from a successful playing career Mardi also teaches at leading private schools in Sydney and has had several students receive music scholarships into a private school education. She conducts enjoyable, fun and highly educational lessons which you can enjoy whilst you learn and develop a strong and fundamental technique.
She prepares students for AMEB exams but also teaches with great results without undertaking AMEB exams. She has had much experience with youth orchestras, currently an active tutor for SYO, The Sydney Conservatorium and a strong knowledge of opportunities available to young people to enjoy their musical learning with others.
A Double bass is provided for lessons so students dont have to transport their own double bass.
