Marie gained her B Mus from the Canberra School of Music in 1987. She then spent more than a decade based in Vienna before returning to Australia in 2000 to start teaching for the pre tertiary department at the ANU School of Music and to set up a private teaching practice. Marie caters for students who wish to take their music studies seriously and has consistently achieved outstanding results in competitions and exams, including several students gaining their A Mus A with distinction. Marie is able to provide a stimulating environment and numerous performing opportunities for talented students. She is a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW.
