Piano Lessons

Marta is passionate about music and about teaching participants in her program to enjoy and appreciate music. She has taught at the ANU’s School of Music and has over 30 years experience in both early childhood music education and adult instruction.

Marta was trained at the Zoltan Kodaly School of Music and Teachers Training College, Hungary where she became an accomplished musician and music educator. The Kodaly approach to music education which Marta uses to impart music skills to participants has a global appeal. It is widely acclaimed for its wholistic approach in developing musical abilities.

Marta’s warm and caring approach will win over her students of any age, even if they’ve never learnt music before. The “PLAY THE PIANO TO ENJOY” Music Program for Adult Beginners is open to all people who would love to learn to read music and to play the piano for their enjoyment.

She has taught at the ANU’s School of Music, Gorman House Arts Centre, Arts Council of the ACT and numerous music organisations, primary schools and pre-schools in the ACT for over 30 years. She also had several appearances and interviews about music education on TV, radio (including Sydney radio station) and newspapers in the ACT.
